On December 7, 2014, Professor Hongying Zhong won WuxiApp Tech Award For Scholars in Chemistry and Life Sciences.  WuXi PharmaTech (NYSE: WX), a leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device research and development outsourcing company, with operations in China and the United States, announced the winners of its 8th annual Life Science and Chemistry Awards at a ceremony held at the China Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.  Guowei Sang, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People''s Congress of China and academician of the chinese academy of engineering, as well as Zhizhen Wang, vice Chairwoman of of the 11th Chinese People''s Political Consultative Conference and academician of the chinese academy of science, presented the awards.
